Originally sponsored and organized by ESPOCH since 2014, the International SECTEI 2025 in Athens, GA is sponsored by the Commission of Mountain Studies (CMS) of the International Geographical Union (IGU), and the local sponsorship of the Geography Department, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, Office of Global Engagement, and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute.
